Check Valve Body before you change gear box

Many mechanics especially in my country Kenya and maybe in Africa and other parts of the world rush to change gearbox whenever they realise a car has common jerking, slow change of gears and which makes a car appear to be having gearbox problems. Before you rush to buy that expensive gearbox advise your mechanic to zero in on Valve Body first because many problems that emerges are as a result of dirty or malfunctioning Valve body. Remember Valve Body is the heart of the gearbox.
