Suzuki Swift 2017 1300cc hybrid

Suzuki swift 1300cc hybrid is a 4 cylinder naturally aspirated car and is known for good performance in its small car category and is respected in fuel economy. Unlike the conventional hybrid cars such as Toyota Axio or Nissan Note Suzuki swift hybrid is unique in that its hybrid system is begged from the use of Lithium battery that is usually placed below the front passenger seat. One might underrate the hybrid technology in the car because of the size of the battery but the system works well just like the well known conventional hybrid system such as the one of Toyota, Honda, Nissan etc.

When driving the car you will notice that the car charges the battery using energy that is generated through braking and when on low speed or when driving uphill the stored energy is then used. The process is called regenerative braking comes and when all the process is happening the driver can see it on the dash display. Remember this is a mild hybrid system that is designed from small compact town service cars such as Suzuki swift, Suzuki Alto etc which do not have big space for normal hybrid batteries such as the one found on Nissan Note or Toyota Axio. Suzuki Swift can produce a horse power of 91Hp @6000rpm and a torque of 118Nm@4400rpm. The car can drive for 100km with 5Litres or around 21km per litre. It uses a tyre size of 185/55/16 and ground clearance is not low. Notable features in the car include steering audio controls, paddle shifters, driver seat warmer, daylight running LED lights and HID lights among other other features. Currently the car, depending on features, mileage, whether its 1000cc boosterjet or 1240cc hybrid, is retailing at between Kshs 1.15M and 1.3M in Kenya.
