Nissan Note EPower Medalist is a 1200cc with nearly all the features that a client looking for a high spec car would want to find in a car. Unlike the basic model, the Medalist provide the user with semi leather seats, arm rests on both front and rear side of the car. Nissan, in Kenya has a stigma associated with CVT gearbox but the company has brought hope with the use of electric motor that has replaced the CVT gearbox.

How does the Motor works

The motor drives the wheels hence the high torque of 25oNm that comes with the note Epower while the 1200cc petrol engine acts as a generator to charge the hybrid battery. The motor provide the car with the needed EV energy making the car one of the greatest cars in Kenya market i.e no worry for CVT gearbox and one is assured of torque and faster acceleration. Nissan Note epower can hit 100km/hr in 9.8 seconds only.

Fuel consumption

Nissan Note epower can give you between 35 and 38km/Litre hence the most fuel efficient car in the history of Nissan in Kenya. This is because the fuel is only used when charging of the battery is needed. One doesn’t need to make a stop over to charge the battery of the car.

Notable features

Features include HID lights, Fog lights, rear and front parking sensors, 360º panoramic view camera and a clear rear camera. The car also has collision mitigation alert system, drive mode selector, multi functional steering wheel and original Nissan Alloy wheels.

The car also doesn’t come with spare tyre; instead it has the pump and if traditionally, Nissan is not mean with booth space.

Currently the prices of the car in Kenya ranges from 1.3 to 1.4Million whereas the basic epower can cost less than 1.3Million depending on the mileage, grade and colour.
