Peugeot 5008 1.6Litre 4 cylinder petrol engine is one of the best engines that Peugeot has ever manufactured. It produces a horse power of 165HP @6000rpm and a torque of 240Nm. The car can attain a speed of 100km/hr in 9 seconds only thanks to its 4 cylinder turbo charged engine that can consume upto 5.8 – 6.1 L/100km in combined highway and urban circles, 5 – 5.3 L/100km on highway circles and 7.5 – 7.8 L/100km on town service. This translates to approximately 16km/Litre.

Peugeot 5008 is a 7 seater and unlike many 7 seater SUV, the car allows for folding of the two back seats or removal of the seats to create more space in the boot area. The total load capacity of the car is 720Kgs and the roof (if you have a carrier can carry upto 80Kgs.

Just like its sister – Peugeot 3008, the 5008 shares almost the same design of seats with 3008.
