Honda Insight 2019 is a new sedan by Honda whose design is based on a Civic platform; the roof and rear panels are closely identical with Civic sedan but other features remain unique to Honda insight.

It received more power through its 1490cc 4 cylinder engine unlike its predecessor that had a 1300cc engine. The horse power of this particular sedan is 151 horse power @6000rpm with a torque of 134 Nm @ 5000 RPM. With its hybrid technology the car is considered one of the best Honda cars in fuel efficiency. The fuel consumption of the car are as follows: 4.3 L/100Km on city drive, 4.8L/100Km on Highway and 4.5 L/100km on combined city and highway drive circles.

LUGGAGE SPACE

Honda insight gives you a reasonable space that is fit for about 2 or 3 small suite cases. It is long and the design of the tail gate ensures that one doesn’t struggle much when removing heavy luggage in the car.

Improvements in the car

Unlike its predecessor, this model has a new central console with Bush Button electric shifter and electric parking brake. The radio has also received a facelift while the steering is now full multifunctional and the car also has front and rear parking sensors controls.

The front and rear panels have received a total facelift with new design headlights and tail lights. It also has a small spoiler and the car is now using 17 inch allow wheels and has improved security features such as keyless entry and it now has eight airbags.

It also has seat warmers and powered seats.

Service parts are available in major shops in Nairobi and many service centres such as Autoexpress and many petrol stations such as Total, Rubis etc.
