Mercedes A180 2019 is now in Kenyan market as a new shape; the engine has been reduced to a 1400cc but still with turbo hence lighter, fuel efficient and still powerful. It produces a horse power of 136Hp and 200Nm of torque.

The gearbox has not changed, it still uses DSG 7 speed dual clutch gearbox just like the previous 2018 model. The new shape 2019 model has a fuel consumption rate of around 5.7L/100 kilometers.

It competes in Kenyan market with other European cars such as Audi A3, VW Golf, Citroen C3 and BMW 116/118 among others.

The A180 accelerates to 100km/hr in 8.9seconds. It is a good car for urban roads because of low clearance.

It has good legroom, the rear seats allows for split folding and the inside is lit by ambient lighting, reading lights, and illuminated door sills. The car is agile when navigating corners thanks to german technology that provides the driver with stability and security on the roads. It has six airbags and powered seats.

The infotainment system (MBUX) provides the owner with many capabilities that include a number of settings for the car. You can enable collision mitigation system, set tyre pressure etc using the MBUX system in the car.

The B180 has a sleek, sporty design with LED headlights and day running lights. The infotainment (MBUX) system allows for bluetooth connectivity and navigation.

Currently the prices in Kenya ranges from Kenya Shillings 2.25Million to 2.5Million.
