Peugeot 2008 by Stellantis N.V now has a new shape from 2020 and it comes with improved interior fabric, new dashboard, new design central console, new design 10 inch infotainment among many other features that the user will find in the car. The outside of the car has also been improved and Day running lights that resembles the canines of a lion have been introduced and for maximum driving security, the car has a radar below the front grill.

Power and fuel consumption

Unlike its predecessor of 2015-2019 that had a horse power of 110Hp and a torque of 205Nm, the 2020 model has a 130hp and 250Nm of torque and comes with an EAT8 – 8 speed gearbox. The 2015-2019 model uses an EAT6 – 6 speed automatic gearbox. The car can accelerates to 100km/hr in between 9 and 10 seconds.

The car consumes approximately 21km/litre if genuine or healthy plugs are in use or the car’s wheel alignment is done and recommended weight of the car is adhered to. The fuel consumption of the car in town service is between 6-8L/100km while highway circles is between 5.5-6.6L/100km.

Ground clearance and leg room

It has a ground clearance of 22.1cm and uses 17 inch alloy wheels hence ideal for both urban and good rural roads.

The boot space of the car can carry upto three or 6 medium size suit cases or if you like it it can carry upto 750kgs. Sunroof or panoramic is a new feature in the 2020/2021 Peugeot 2008; it is actually, in someway, a duplicate of a 3008.

The cost of servicing the car is friendly, for instance, air cleaner costs 1700/=, oil filter costs 700/= and the recommended oil from Total petrol stations costs between 3160/= and 4800/=.
