Peugeot 208 2016 EAT6 preview

Peugeot 208 2016 is a facelift of 2015 model which used manual gear. The 2015 model is popularly known as HM01 while the 2016 full automatic is referred as HN01 in Kenya. The difference between 2015 and the 2016 is that whereas the 2015 (HM01) use manual gear the 2016 uses fully automatic 6 speed EAT-6 gearbox.

The EAT-6 gear box is known for fast shifting of gears. This means the driver does not have to press hard the gas peddle hence the reduction of fuel consumption. EAT – 6 gear model is very efficient and is used but 208, 2008, 308, 3008, 508, 5008, expert and Traveller. A number of Citron models also use the EAT- 6 gear box.

Unlike other small hatchback models such as Toyota Vitz, Nissan Note, etc, Peugeot 208 stands out in design, features and power. Peugeot 208 use 3D tail lights unlike other cars which use normal lights. It also has cruise controls, paddle shifters and has 6 airbags. The only car that can match Peugeot is Mazda Demio.

Peugeot 208 sterio is not like any other sterio. It combines entertainment and communication in one place. One can control AC of the car, set maximum speed of the car among other functionalities that the car owner will enjoy. Some models have full spec features that include parking sensor, parking assist or auto pilot while others only have a camera.

Some Peugeot 208 also comprise those with panoramic roof and those without. One outstanding feature also is the bucket seats found in all 208 models. It also has a good size of boot space compared to models such as Toyota Vitz or suzuki swift.
